British Airways Launches New Seasonal Route to Toulon on the French Riviera

British Airways has launched a new seasonal route between London City Airport and Toulon-Hyères Airport, France.

Operated by BA CityFlyer, the service will offer flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays from May 23 to September 1, 2026.

The new route will be operated by BA Cityflyer and will complement the airport’s existing route to Nice Côte d’Azur Airport, offering a different entry point for discovering the French Riviera.

The twice-weekly flights provide the only nonstop London service to Toulon, which serves as a gateway to Saint-Tropez, Aix-en-Provence and the wider Provence region, the Islands off the Var coast, and the exceptional vineyards of Bandol.

Toulon-Hyères Airport is located less than two miles from the train station, which connects to the best towns on the French Riviera, including Cannes, Antibes, Nice, and Monaco.

Private transfers and taxis to Saint-Tropez and other towns are also readily available from Toulon Airport, but it’s best to book in advance during peak times.

For travelers who have been to Nice and Monaco and want to see something different, or for those who just want to explore a different side of the region, Toulon is an alternative gateway to the French Riviera and Provence.
